This is almost beyond reality. It stems out of the great great great Bitches Brew, one of the most significant albums in history. All the layers of sounds, the mixture of complex elements with the hypnotic groove. This music takes your mind to a level of abstraction and enjoyment where the nuisances of our predictable lives become completely meaningless.

This music is not from 1971 but from 1970 when Miles had Jarrett and Chick Corea Keyboards and Dave Holland on Bass.
In 1971 Michael Henderson was the Bass player and Chick and Dave split to play with Anthony Braxton. Jack is just TOO MUCH!

Amongst the noise there are some deep grooves

the thing is man, you listen to jack's grooves like on live-evil, while stoned, his funkiness really shows; jack just uses the other parts of the kit at will to generate his funk |
