They are allowed to let the dog walk around your car. How you decline is important.
"Mind if I look around?'
"Fuck you i know my righ. . .hey what are you doing with that tazerzzzzz"
"Mind if I look around"
"Well sir I have nothing to hide but also I have nothing to gain by surrendering my rights. I understand your doing your job but I must respectfully refuse."

The ACLU are practicing lawyers who volunteer their time pro bono to defend the constitution, (of course they have a point of view that may differ from yours) and only the Constitution

Here is an idea; don't have drugs with you? Don't smoke pot and drive? Don't DRINK and drive?
The cop was out of line talking about"very bad men doing very bad things to you..'(and this isn't real good acting)
Don't have illegal drugs with you.Driving while drunk and /or HIGH is dangerous to the rest of us out there. He could have refused the officer access but he could have gotten to the truth another way, still LEGAL but more time consuming. Then you would end up with a stiffer fine and jail.

I've seen police act like this, it's always amusing to see them look like fucking idiots in court afterwards.
Finn1916 (September 7, 2008 at 3:30 pm)
Then you call ACLU on them. It's really quite simple. The ACLU makes their living on cases like that, all day, every day.

Bullshit, the cops in my town would still get the dogs no matter what, with no probable cause, with no consent to search, the cops in my town are bullshit.

Refuse compliance with the Republic? That is simply treason! Listen, the Republic is here for all of us, and compliance insures a secure and stable society. Even Kennedy had the gumption to ask the citizenry of the US to do more. The idea of "me", "what I want", has to die, and a revolution of thought towards "what is it *we all, the Republic* need that I can put forth" is what needs to come about. Anarchistic theory (and that is all it is) will not be seeded...let alone be allowed to grow. |
