great but how do you do it? just mark inches on a wall, accurately. then jump and subtract your heaight to the number of inches you jumped.. and you got your vertical????

At my high school there was a wall that measured my reach. It was 8'1 then I jumped up and touched 11 feet. Doing the math I have a 35 inch leap. Not vertical but overall leap.

how do you measure your vertical?

Not trying to take anything away from Chris.
But he should be looking at the rim like Gerald Green does. Well Gerald actually looks down into but yea. 6'3 + 4'2=10'5. His head was about leveled with the rim. He has more like a 45. So if that's the case then T-Dub got a 57 inch leap.

They should do a test with spud webb, his 170cm tall and is able do perform a dunk effortlessly,so imagine the vertcal leap...i think that its easily more than 50inches.
