Listen turkey - since these guys almost single-handedly created prog-rock (along with Procol Harum in the 60's-70's) I can't possibly understand how the could be "cliched". Perhaps it was a new word you only learned yesterday and are keen to show off with.

I think it's funny that the "idiot" who made that comment is in his/her 40s. Seems childish to say something like that about one of the greatest prog-rock groups of all time..(especially saying it like it just happened yesterday)but I guess ignorance happens when you have no eclectic, musical background. Shame..

"It's called lame and incredibly shit". I hate it when people are intimidated by art in music. Prog rock is about real expression and art and it scares people who are too stupid to understand it. Most of these people call it pretencious but you felt you needed to use crude vocabulary. Well done. Very classy

1) Cliche as compared to whom? Arthur Brown? One other example doesn't a cliche make. 2) Everyone knows that - a) Peter started the whole costume/story telling thing because of the down time between songs b) Genesis' media coverage exploded after he started with the getups, which helped make the band. 3) Quit using our oxygen to support your brain

It's called prog rock and its an acquired taste. However, saying "It's called 'lame' and Incredibly Shit." is crass. If you don't like it then find something you do like and post something good about it. This music has its audience, so does the music you listen to, so go appreciate that music. This song is amazing though. It has such a mystical and theatrically joyful sense about it, as well as the individuals own personal experiences taking effect on the way they play their instruments!
